There are also a variety of different attachments that can be used in order to work the triceps, and this helps to hit the various heads of the tricep muscle effectively. For example, you can do tricep pull downs with a minibar one day and then use a rope attachment the next in order to really get an effective workout.

There are also times whenever we enjoy using free weights, and kickbacks are a very effective way of working the triceps with dumbbells. The real difficulty with using free weights, however, is that you may tend to swing your upper arm a little bit whenever you’re working out. In order for you to get the most out of these exercises, your form must be perfect so it may be necessary for you to include a partner for a little while in your exercise routine in order to watch what you’re doing.

Finally, you may want to work the legs a little bit in order to increase the size of your arms and to gain muscle in your triceps. Doing some of the basic exercises, such as 3 deadlifts, squats and seated leg press is going to build muscle in all areas of your body because of the way the body chemistry works. It is during these times that the body wants to grow muscle and the muscle will not only be grown on the legs that you’re working, it will also be grown in other areas of your body, including the triceps. As long as you keep things balanced in your exercise routine, you will see growth in your triceps that is better than if you isolated them constantly.
